Michael Jordan is one of the twentieth century’s most iconic individuals. If you didn’t own or wear a pair of  Nike ‘Air’ Jordans in the 90’s and you loved basketball or sport in general, shame on you ! On the 6th February 1988, Michael Jordan won the NBA All Star Slam Dunk competition with a perfect score on his final dunk. Spurred on by the Chicago Bulls hometown crowd, Jordan wins back to back Slam competitions (1987&88) in somewhat controversial circumstances.

Please enjoy my “freaky Friday” video below of arguable the greatest basketball player of all time !

  1. I remember watching that one live. It was epic. Dominique Wilkins never got the respect he deserved for his part in the slam dunk comps. Same with Clyde ‘the Glide’ Drexler.
